Unlocks a file.

Parameter descriptions

spec: A pointer to an FSSpec structure specifying the file to unlock.

function result: A result code.

DISCUSSION

If the PBHGetVolParmsSync or PBHGetVolParmsAsync function indicates that the volume supports folder locking (that is, the bHasFolderLock bit of the vMAttrib field is set), you can use FSpRstFLock to unlock a directory.

AVAILABILITY

Supported in Carbon. Available in Carbon 1.0.2 and later when running Mac OS 8.1 or later.
